
POLYGRACE
It is a film developed for cushioning material. Low modulus and low elasticity that it has, make it extremely easy to stretch and excellent followingness. Furthermore, this film has heat sealing property with different material such as corrugated paper.
Based on polyolefin, we developed a film "POLYGRACE" which has properties such as high stretch and followability, heat sealability with corrugated paper. Polyurethane film has been mainly used for cushioning material until now, but the POLYGRACE can be a substitute for polyurethane!
Characteristics & Uses
1Easy to stretch
You can easily stretch the film with a slight force. 40μm thickness "POLYGRACE NEO" is lower modulus than 25 μm polyurethane (MG90)! Even bulky contents can be easily packed.

50% modulus value
This is the result of measuring the force required to stretch each film by 50% (For example, stretching a 100 mm length film to 150 mm).
A smaller value shows that it can be stretched with a slight force, which means that it is a "soft" and "easy to stretch" film.

2Followingness

Feeling similar to wrap film and stretch film, and outstanding softness!
It fits perfectly to the shape of the uneven contents and it is possible to hold the contents.
3Recovery elasticity
Be backing (returning) force (= recovering elasticity) after stretching the film is also superior to general polyolefin film.
Recovery rate
Each samples were stretched by 50%, 100%, 200%, 300% for each 15 mm wideness films, and the elongation to length before loading was measured when the load was freed after 5 minutes. The smaller value, the better recovery elasticity.

4Heat sealing property
Originally, a polyethylene film not having a polar group could not be thermally welded with a different material which is not thermally compatible. However, POLYGRACE available for heat welding of cardboard paper and film, you can make film cushioning material without any adhesives. Especially excellent heat sealability "POLYGRACE-V" series, welding is OK on both sides of the film.
5There is cost merit compared with polyurethane film!
olyurethane film that used to be as film cushioning material has great elasticity and puncture strength, but there was a cost problem. POLYGRACE got over the cost problem and be close to the performance of polyurethane film. Possibility to use has expanded greatly for applications such as "The price did not match well with one-way use only"
6High transparency

"POLYGRACE NEO" series have high transparency, so you can show the contents of packaging beautifully. Easy & eco-friendly and beautiful packaging material is realized.
7Registered patent
POLYGRACE, which was developed by Takeda Sangyo with long experience and technology, was patent registered.
